On September 14th our fence crew completed over 800 feet of deer fencing around the State Highway Adminstration orchard in Hampstead. The State supplied the materials and the Maryland Chapter provided the labor. ----- Please click on the image to enlarge.

Our Chapter Secretary, Barbara Knapp, is featured in the front-page article of the Maryland Environmental Trust's fall/winter newsletter. The article describes Barbara's chestnut trees and her conservation easement, along with a description of the Maryland Chapter's activities.
